The Centre was established in the year 2002 in the building (Hotel Pabbar) taken from the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and was upgraded in to Regional Adventure Sports Centre in the year 2006. There is a 50 bedded hostel for accommodation of trainees. The Centre conducts adventure sports like rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, kayaking and white water rafting. The Centre is run/ headed by a Mountaineering Supervisor.
